About mybenefitsdata.org

What We Do

We take publicly available data from the Social Security Administration and turn it into something you can actually use. Hearing office wait times, judge approval rates, state-level claim statistics, condition-specific filing guidance — it's all drawn from government records that have always been public but were never easy to find or understand.

Our goal is simple: help people navigating the disability benefits process make more informed decisions about their claims.

Where the Data Comes From

Every statistic on this site is sourced from official SSA datasets, including hearing office workload data, administrative law judge disposition reports, state-level determination statistics, and the Blue Book listing of impairments. We process these records through automated pipelines that run on published schedules, so the numbers stay current as the SSA releases new data.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Social Security Administration or any other government agency.

What We Don't Do

We don't provide legal advice, represent claimants, or make decisions about benefits eligibility. The information here is educational and informational. If you need help with a specific claim, we recommend consulting a qualified disability attorney or accredited representative.

Who We Are

mybenefitsdata.org is operated by Benefits Data LLC, based in Wilmington, Delaware. We built this site because we saw a gap: the data people need to understand their disability claims exists, but it was buried in government spreadsheets and XML feeds that most people would never find on their own.
